"When my hospice foster pittie suddenly had a spinal stroke (we think), the rescue and I made the difficult decision to put her down at home instead of trying to get her in the back of the car and to the rescue’s vet an hour away. She didn’t do well at vet offices and so we really wanted her to pass at home. Dr Caspersen was gracious enough to drive outside her usual area (an hour to my house in traffic) and was caring, calm and so understanding. She didn’t not rush the situation despite it being almost evening by the time she could get to us and had yet to drive Gracie to the crematorium in Wisconsin. A long, long day for her. Yet, her warmth and carefulness with Gracie so Gracie didn’t get scared or aggressive (not knowing this woman in our house that was putting her hands on her) told me Gracie realized she was there to help her dispute her clear confusion with what was happening. I can’t recommend her enough. I wouldn’t hesitate to use her again for any reason. Don’t hesitate- call her."
